Decent, but a small hiccup

I rented a snowboard rental pack for a week in Les Arcs. Booking online was fine, pretty quick and easy. Pickup at the shop was efficient, no long wait. The snowboard itself was good, handled well on the slopes. The boots, though, felt a bit worn out inside, one of the liners was a little crushed, which made my foot a bit uncomfortable after a few hours. Nothing major, but noticeable. Customer service was polite when I asked about swapping them, but they didn't have another pair in my size that day. Overall, still a good value for the price, but they could check the boot condition a bit closer.

Smooth rental, good equipment

I booked an intermediate ski set and ski boots for my trip to Val Thorens. The online booking process was straightforward on NetSki's website, easy to pick my dates and location. I received a confirmation email quickly. When I arrived at the shop, the pickup was fast; just showed my reservation and they got me fitted right away. The equipment was in good condition, not brand new but well-maintained, and worked fine for the week. Returning it was also quick. No issues at all, a solid experience.

Reliable rental, great value

This was my third time using NetSki for our family's ski trip, and they were consistent as always. I booked a family pack offer this time, which included junior ski sets for the kids and performance ski sets for us. Each time I've used them, the booking has been simple, and the equipment has been ready at the resort shop without any delays. The gear is always good quality for rental, not top-tier but perfectly fine for a week on the slopes. I keep coming back because I know what to expect, and they deliver. It's a reliable service, especially with the early booking discounts you can grab.

Easy peasy ski rental

Needed skis for a last-minute trip. Found NetSki, booked an adult ski rental pack. Super easy to do it online. Picked up the gear at the shop, no fuss. Everything went great, no complaints. Will use them again for sure.

Quick pickup, good skis

Just got back from my ski trip. Used NetSki for an all-mountain ski set. The website was pretty straightforward for booking. Picked up the skis at the resort shop, it took maybe 10 minutes total. The skis themselves were good, handled the conditions well. No issues with the return either. Pretty happy with it.

how easy is it to change my rental dates if something comes up? my plans aren't totally firm yet.

D Danielle Martin 4 days ago
Pretty straightforward. I had to push my dates back a few days once and just messaged them. They changed it without any fuss.

Yeah, I changed my pickup date once. Just log into your account or contact customer service. They're usually pretty good about it, as long as it's not super last minute like the day before.

Thinking of booking for a trip in February. Is it better to book super early for a good deal, or do they have decent last-minute sales?

R Rachel Moore 1 week ago
Definitely book early for February! That's peak season. You can save a good chunk, like 10-50% if you're way ahead of time. Last minute is more of a gamble.

I'd say early is almost always better for the best prices. I've seen some last-minute stuff but it's usually for less popular resorts or dates. For February, lock it in now.

Hey, wondering if anyone's had issues swapping gear mid-week? Like, if I rent skis but wanna try snowboarding for a day or two.

M Mary T. 1 week ago
Yeah, totally! I did it last season. You can usually swap for different gear like a snowboard if it's available in the shop. Just ask them.

It depends on the shop and what they have on hand, but generally, yes, they're pretty flexible. I've switched from carving skis to all-mountain no problem before.

Anyone compared Netski vs Skiset? Trying to figure out which one is better for a family trip to France.

L Linda Wright 5 days ago
I've used both and honestly, they're pretty similar in terms of gear quality and convenience. Netski often has slightly better early booking deals in my experience, but Skiset has a huge presence too.

For a family trip, check both sites for prices for your specific dates and resort. I usually find one will have a better deal than the other depending on what discounts are running. Netski is good, but so is Skiset.

Do these guys do student discounts? I'm trying to save some cash for my trip to the Alps.

S Sarah Evans 5 days ago
I think so! I remember seeing something about a student discount when I booked last year. Check their site, it's usually listed under their offers.

Yeah, they often have a student discount. Just make sure you have your student ID ready when you pick up your gear, they might ask to see it.
